September 2018

In accordance with our Kids at Hope philosophy, this year our caring adults made the commitment to focus on being the Ace of Diamonds, or one who provides opportunities of success to each one of our students.  The Kids at Hope program describes your role as the Ace of Hearts, or anchor parent.  This person cares for the day to day basic needs of the child and is the most important Ace a child can have.  We hope you will accept our invitation to join us in our efforts to provide opportunities for your child to succeed.  We take our responsibility as the Ace of Diamonds very seriously, but you are still our students’ first and most important teacher.  Please use today’s conference to gain every strategy and ask any question to assist your child in their academics, and make sure to share any additional information we need to know as we believe ALL CHILDREN ARE CAPABLE OF SUCCESS...NO EXCEPTIONS!

A couple of noteworthy pieces of support for us.  Please make sure you fill out an updated food service form.  This needs to be done every year.  For every student who qualifies, the federal government provides additional funding for our school.  As you know, Arizona schools could use every penny available to provide the best services for our students.  Also, on the reverse of this letter you will find our Tax Credit form.  You may donate and receive 100% of this donation back on your tax return!  The form also allows you to designate and list the program you would like your donation to support.  This includes any after school club or athletic team, field trip and also our Agriscience program!

To keep informed of school happenings please make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram as well as our school website.   For more information about the Kids at Hope philosophy please visit

Again, I want to thank you for taking time out to celebrate and dream with our teachers and students today.  Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any item big or small.  We are here for the success of your child.

Yours always in PRIDE,

Jennifer Gray
